Morbid: The Seven Acolytes is an action RPG game set in a world filled with Lovecraftian and Cronenbergian-inspired horror and gore. The game is a traditional RPG in appearance, with a 2D art style played from a top-down perspective.

Thematically, Morbid: The Seven Acolytes features a lot of gore and violence, as well as disturbing imagery, albeit in a retro cartoon-ish style. Gameplay-wise, it is similar to the original Fallout games, with progression achieved through a perk leveling system.

For players looking for a classic RPG experience, Morbid: The Seven Acolytes could deliver that experience. It should be noted, however, that many players have stated the game is a little on the short side but that it packs plenty of content for the time it has.
